About Us
Hi, my name is Ramin Ghiasi! I’ve been the pharmacist at Blyth Pharmacy since July 2019. I am a husband to my wonderful wife and a proud father to both a daughter and a son.
My story began when I graduated from Mashad Medical University's Pharmacy School, in Mashad, Iran in 1992. After 7 years of experience as a pharmacist at various pharmacies, I decided to open up my own pharmacy in 1999. I launched the pharmacy in Sanandaj, Iran, serving the community for 7 years. Later, my family moved to Dubai, contributing my efforts as a pharmacist to Iranian Hospital for 3 years.
In 2010, it was time for a new stage of my life, and we moved to Canada. After passing 2 of my PEBC qualification exams, I spent 3 years as a pharmacy assistant at Loblaws in Woodbridge. Following my families’ move to Nova Scotia, I continued as a pharmacy assistant. In 2017, I earned my licensed pharmacist status after passing all PEBC required exams and completed internships across 3 different pharmacies.
In 2018, I had come to Ontario to spend some time working as a relief pharmacist, until 2019. Come July 2019, I found the perfect opportunity and opened my very own pharmacy in Blyth, Ontario.
With 19 years in Iran and 6 years in Canada, I have learned exactly what it takes to become a trusted and efficient pharmacist.
